French Cuisine!

I thought I'd share my first experience eating at a French restaurant with a couple of friends! Let me just say this first, I absolutely enjoyed the atmosphere this restaurant was located at. Le St. Tropez is located at the heart of downtown Toronto. The atmosphere was buzzing with various activities and people going about their business in the late evening. My friends and I had decided to sit on the patio, so we could enjoy the downtown view while eating.

We ordered some delicious white wine to go along with a delicious cream broccoli soup appetizer. Oh by the way, my friend Jan, ordered some sort of appetizer that had snails in them! Cooked of course, but completely mortifying! Nevertheless, I did end up eating one of the snails, (gross I know) and it turned out to be quite chewy. Our main course was loaded with greatness. I had a seafood dish, (top left) and it was more than delicious, but very filling. Soon afterwards, to my delight we decided to get some yummy dessert. I, for the first time tried Crème brûlée . I have to say, I'm not a big fan of it. I rather fancied the vanilla ice cream with chocolate drizzle (bottom left) instead.

Overall, my experience at Le St. Tropez was excellent! I will definitely be going back there sometime soon. Although, expensive, I'd say it was worth it.
